Coming from a large family that has und...Baffled - <br />Coming from a large family that has undergone several chronic illnesses and whatever else, I know from experience a lot of the things you're talking about. Sometimes it's just too much to deal with, and my brother says "sometimes people are easier to love from a distance" haha.<br /><br />That much aside, I thought your discussion about change was interesting. I have learned some useful principles from Buddhism myself and it's fascinating to me. I don't think change always has to be up to chance, though. We can change right now. It may not be a physical change, but we can always change our attitudes and our mindsets. <br /><br />For me, I know what enables me to change is Jesus Christ. Knowing that he will always forgive us and strengthen us when we follow Him helps me change and have hope. I also know and am thankful that after this life, our bodies won't have to deal with sickness and pain because we will have perfect bodies.
