The description is spot on because the head writer, Susan Harris, suffers from CFS. The sad part is that 20 years later the exact same thing is happening in doctors offices all over the country. Why is this disease so misunderstood??
It's just so sad that things haven't changed more over the 20 years. Doctors need to remember that their patients are PEOPLE, too! I think the speech given there at the end of the clip is something that MANY of us with chronic illness would like to give to at least one doctor out there. It's just too bad that it's that way. Those were some very good episodes and gave CFS some good awareness back then.
